4th year anniversary-Day 6 (LA)

It was another day at Disney Land! Yups its super duper big we gotta plan for 2 days. Some of our friends planned a 3 days Disney tour.

But for us, 2 days’ good!

It was a more relax look see look see day. hahahha
We saw Mr Incredibles! And most importantly, no queue.

Went around visiting some plays, etc.

Then noon time, settle for some random soupy lunches.

Here’s something real fun. We went to the Animation Academy!!

Yah, its sorta classroom session, learning how to draw famous character!!!

Rossie highly recommend to make a trip to the classroom for a different Disney experience!!!

And he was practically nodding wow that’s good!

A lil secret. Rossie’s a lousy art student! So when I saw how pretty my piglet looked like, man I was so proud and happy!!!! Cos I never knew I could draw!

We ended our day in Disney quite early.

Thus we went for Umami Burger!

It’s featured in FoodNetWork show The best thing I ever eat!

And when we ate it, Roy and Ros repeatedly said The BEST BURGER WE EVER ATE.

Whahahaa seriously. It’s that good. Will drop by again!!!

Rights, we made our way down to LV. That completes our LA trip.

So next up, Viva Las Vegas!!!!

Were supposed to be at DisneyLand today but cos of my sleep in toilet the previous night, decided to switch to a more rest and relax day.

We went to Famous Griddles’ Cafe. Well, alot of locals visit this cafe and it’s super crowded!

Crowded=good rite? hehe

4th year anniversary trip-Day 1 (LA)

Our road trip was a butt-torturing ride…

We spent at least 15 hrs on the road and we finally reached LA!!!

Our first day began with breakfast at Roscoe’s!

If you are a fav TV fan of Travel Channel, you might heard of Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservation programme!

We love him muchie!!!!

He went to this raved place and we went there to have Chicken & Waffles for breakfast.

Finally back in Potato Land!

Roy & Rossie went on a trip to celebrate our 4th year anniversary.

It’s a road trip (14 hrs drive to be exact) from Idaho to LA!

We stopped by LV for dinner and chiong all the remaining 4 hrs to LA.

The trip was a 10 day trip (including the transportation time).

We spent 6 days in LA and 2 days in LV. As mentioned before LV was not as what I expected. So besides the good eats and the factory outlet, nothing really interest me la.

Roy’s objective: EAT! (He is so deprived of chinese, jap cuisine)

Ros’s objective: WHAT ELSE? SHOP LA. hahahhahaa

So in order not to bore you all with this post, I shall show you all my buys pressies first!

Roy & Rossie in Vegas!

 

Rossie~attending 2 years Housewifery course in USA

Rossie will be leaving in end July.
Thats fast right?
Still remembered that when he asked if WE should do this.
Few months ago…..
Roy had the opportunity to go USA for his work related training,
I told him he if he wanted to do it, I will support him, I dun want him to regret.
Soon after, the place was filled up by someone else.
When asked, he told me that he knew I can’t bear to leave this place…
Adding on, I was going through the promotion interview. And thus, he gave up the opportunity.
Thereafter, I thought that’s it!

But who knows, think we are fated to be there!
One of his colleague could not make it for the trip!
He asked whether I am willing to leave everything behind and move to Idaho as a housewife.
That was when we had the serious discussion. We weighed the pros and cons.
One of the main deciding factor was gaining the experience money can’t buy.
Yups went thru’ health checkups, settling visa, etc…
Now we started packing.. That’s the saddening part.
When I packed my walk-in, I cried and cried.. cos I cannot bring all my clothes over!!!
Now its nearly empty (sold some away, gave my cousin and sis)
Still left bits & pieces here and there.
The shipment will be here on 16th July!
Luckily we bought furniture from Ikea and this gonna help save alot!

Mixed feeling now.
Happy, excited and anticipating…
Sad, worried and can’t bear to leave my family & friends here!

 

Fukuoka

Took the bullet train again! We bought the *bian dang*!!! Roy loves it! hahaha Me sleeping like a pig! 🙂

Went to have a river boat ride that lasted around 30 mins… Very low bridges were seen and the expert told us to bend low in fear of banging into our heads.

The first thing we got off the boat was to ask for yummy Unagi!

It’s worth the long boat ride!!!!

Navigate around in the night for Yatai! The famous street hawkers!!! Sold famous Ramen and beer!!! Definately a tourist spot cos it’s expensive!!!

I feel so bloated! Kept blogging about food hor! Sian arh!!! hahhaa We really ate ALOT!!!!
